I need to charge my batteries!
My batteries are charged but I can’t go, maybe next year.

I think I got my batteries charged last year…
Andy Clarke said:That was a battery replacement. Far more extensive than recharging. ;-)

Loading up the car. Deciding what trains to bring. Better bring a jacket.
Looking forward to seeing old friends again.

You are officially old when you legitimately order something from the senior citizens menu at the restaurant.
Joe Satnik said:I order from the senior menu because of the price, but I usually need to order twice as much to satisfy the appetite. Thank God I'm on a budget, I couldn't afford this way of life without gummerment help.

Used to be you were officially old when AARP sent you your first of 17 invitations to join.
Joe Satnik said:I got those when I was still on active duty with the Navy! I guess the sailors were right!

Have tomorrow afternoon off and was planning a run at Andy’s… now have funeral for 29 year old nephew. See ya all Saturday
Dear John,
Condolences to you and your family.
Sincerely,
Joe Satnik
I’ll be there Sunday. My battery, which was supposed to arrive Thursday, still has not arrived and I’m waiting on it.
Records were broken today as 31 people plus, attended the Saturday portion of the event. The number 31 also shows as that is the number of trains that ran, moving 121 cars of freight or passengers and carrying 13, 500 tons of freight. The last of the people have just left and I think we appreciate that there will be an extra hour of sleep before we start prepping to do it again. Great fun. I know pictures were taken, I’ll get ours posted when I can.
Dear Ric,
Any invaders?
Joe
