Dave what is the summer schedule for #315?
The family is gathering in SW Colorado again this summer and I’d love to show them your gal.
John C. If Dave is at Cumbres and Toltec RR, they have 488 and looks like 454 double headed, have a family friend there yesterday, and he posted picture on Facebook
Dave is a fireman on the 315, a Silverton Northern consolidation, with running rights on the D & S RR and the C & T S RR.
16 of my closest family rode the Cumbres in 2015, a great time for all.
One of my friends just returned from CO Narrow Gauge country. He was up at the C&TSR last week , or the week before for their special weekend and 315 was pulling photo freights. He got some great pics and video.
This pic from Facebook, so I’m not sure it will be visible to all. I couldn’t zoom in enough to see if Dave is tending the fire…

It would be great to get a good update on Dave’s activities, if he has the time. His reports were always very informative, educational, and most enjoyed.

I could not imagine he had totally abandoned us.
Durango Historical Society web page says “315 TO REMAIN AT C&TS UNTIL 2022.”
Nor could I imagine he left #315 he had put so much effort into/onto/inside of!
