Howdy from a New Guy!

Howdy folks! I just signed up here and I’m looking forward to learning from y’all and talkin trains!

I have previously been modelling in HO, HOn3, On30 and just bought a Bachmann Fn3 K-27. I also have gotten my hands on 3 AMS Stock cars, and an AMS box car, plus a Bachmann long caboose. Should have my first 74’ feet of track coming in here this week, so as soon as spring gets ahold I should be able to start building my outdoor railroad!

The largest model trains I’ve had till recently have been my On30 stuff, but this Fn3 is great!

Welcome. Come and learn.

You’ll quickly find out that things outside are a LOT different from building an indoor layout.

I’d recommend checking out the various ways to lay track to find out what seems to suit YOU best.

Same with power options.

Best bet is to find somebody nearby and visit.
