Welcome to LSC Woody
welcome!
… and if you got no largescale pics yet, most of us would like H0 or other scale pics too.
Like Korm said. Besides large scale, we like other scales to. Ho is our other scale. So Welcome aboard and yes always need photos. Noel & Jane In Cal.
Wow! Thanks for all the welcome messages! Y’all know how to make a feller feel at home!
Several folks asked where I’m located. I am in Prescott, AZ. About 5,000 feet up in the mountains of north/central AZ. Much cooler than Phoenix! We’ll get up to the mid '90’s in the hottest part of the summer, and maybe tip 100 once in a while. Four discernable seasons, none of which are miserable. Been here for 31 years.
The picture you see on my posts is Skull Valley depot. It’s an old AT&SF depot about 20 minutes drive from me. The BNSF “Peavine” between Ash Fork to the north and Phoenix runs about 20 minutes drive north or south from my place. Lots of great railroad history around here. BNSF still runs through Skull Valley.
My 13 year old daughter and I are building an N scale layout for her right now. It’s my daughter’s railroad, and she likes Santa Fe, as do I, for standard gauge anyway. She likes to go out to the tracks with me and watch trains too. I have some pics of our progress on her layout that I can post.
Dave Taylor- Thanks for the compliment on my flute music! I appreciate you taking a listen!
Thanks again for the welcome y’all!

Woody, I would HIGHLY recommend contacting Stan Cedarleaf - he’s an advertiser here and is also located in Prescott. He has a nice outdoor layout and it would give you a chance to talk to someone in person and see how things work outside.
He is a great guy to talk with!
He also does very nice custom decals in case you want your own railroad. Contact info can be found by clicking on his ad when it show up, or via this link: http://gold.mylargescale.com/StanCedarleaf/WebPageDecals/CustomDecalsx.html
Bruce,
Thanks for the info on Stan Cedarleaf. I’ll be contacting him for certain!
