Yep, I should be there… hunt me down, I’m 6’ 2" you should be able to find me… look forward to meeting you and seeing all the gang, I really like being able to hang out at either the steam loop or the Fairplex… of course I have to stand off to one corner if I have a stogie going.

I have an idea, everyone scoot over to the fairplex outdoor railroad at opening time, so I can scoop up some deals.
As we get closer to the Southwest show and have more information I’ll put it all together but I had a nice visit with Bob Tooney of Fairplex since we were at the same Open House on Saturday.
If you do run your trains with MLS later in the day Saturday you can leave your trains on the tracks in the storage yard at the Fairplex layout. It’s fenced and locked.
Bob is also going to see if he can get a good discount for those that want to get a room at the Sheraton next door. He was able to get a $79 rate recently. It all depends on whether they have any other conventions that weekend.
Sounds like fun, wish I could make it. This time and job stuff sure does interrupt life.
I know the feeling. I may be retired but the layout is keeping me active. I do feel like I’m still on schedule for my open house in September.
Open house in September? I think I could drop down off the backside of the hill for that one.
