Have an idea/looking for help

OOOOpssssss. Double post.

Nick

Shawn,

Like we talked about on the phone, What ever you fall short on im sure I can get you what you need to finish. Its great to see some others helping to move the hobby forward, As you know, We are the future of the hobby. I too have done this many times before and itā€™s great to get more people interested in trains. Look forward to talking again and seeing you at the show.

Shawn, Got the ā€œKitsā€ Cut and sent. I sent two Gons and a flat car kits. I tossed in three new Aristo-craft freight truck sets to go under the cars. No couplers, as it hasnā€™t been decided yet as to what he will run with. Iā€™ve changed the bolsters to a one piece casting, running upgrade.

Anything else I can do, let me knowā€¦

Thank you Dave. Im hopping to meet up with Kyle soon. I want to get an idea of the area we have to work with for a layout. Cant wait.

Shawn,
I donā€™t have any track or cars to donate but, with all the different track coming in youā€™ll probably need a bender. Iā€™d be more than happy to send my train-li that way and whatever shipping is Iā€™ll include a check with it so you donā€™t have to worry about shipping costs to send it back.
Terry

Terry, thanks for the offer. A friend of mine is letting me use his. I really appreciate the offer

Sorry I donā€™t have more to offer.

I finally had the chance to stop by Kyleā€™s and drop off all the track etcā€¦ that was donated to him. It was like Christmas morning for him and his mom. Mom and Kyle was very appreciative of it all. She had no idea how she would have done it on her own and not knowing anything about trains. I also had a chance to survey the area where the layout is going to be. Hopefully in the next few week we can break ground. Kyle and his Mom says a big thanks to everyone. Will post of the progress.
