Mark Ill take anything. If there is something he doesn’t use I can send it back. But I have feeling it will all get used someway.
Hey Shawn, I looked thru my stuff and unfortunately I don’t have any track left but I do have an Aristocraft G Scale 0-4-0 Steam Locomotive & Tender that I will donate to the new young rail fan. It’s the Denver & Rio Grande #210 ART 21327 with very little run time on it.
It’s great that you can be a mentor to this young boy.I’ll send it out to you sometime this week and I will email you to let you know the method of shipment and tracking info. Regards, Ron

Shawn,
Had a great day running trains at your house. Wonderful family. Got me thinking (alot) about
live steam on the ride home. I might be catching the bug. You just never know.
Pat

Wow…that’s awesome
No… thank you Ron!
Mr.Rooster, Don’t thank me. I just want to have fun with trains and life. life is short so lets pass on our enjoyment to the young ones. If we could all concentrate on that. So I think we should take a good look at what Shawn is doing! That’s the big picture right? That’s what this hobby’s all about. life would suck without a hobby. So lets get together and help a boy or girl have a better life. So please donate any thing you can spare to this young boy. Thank you in advance. And sorry Shawn for stealing this thread. Regards,Ron
Shawn, Would he be up to building a couple of my shorty Gon Kits from Build challenge 13, Ill throw in a couple sets of trucks to get them rolling, or I could build, or someone here could build for him.
Let me know.
Thanks again guys. Dave I think Kyle would love to build the kits. I think it would be great for him and its something I can always help him with.

Yes sir
Me too!
Shawn do you need some help, is there a work schedule?
A big pat (no pun intended) on the back for all those who have given or are going to contribute to the cause.
There are many who claim to be “The Great One,” but in my eyes, Shawn is the one who truthfully wears that title with what he had undertaken.
With all the negative nonsense going on not only here, but just about everywhere, its refreshing to see something good being done. It has been an honor to be a small part of it.
Pat
Wish I could help Shawn But I live too far away so you will have to rely on Bird Brain Mechanic
I have some old LGB/REA/Aristo track but it’s all R1.
Ray anything will work.
Glen good to see you on LSC. I don’t have a set dates yet. But hoping for sometime in sept. Ill keep you posted as well as the club.
Shawn. Get us a shipping address. What kind of couplers and how will they be mounted. It looks like he may have some tight corners, and less then perfect track work. Talgos or Hook & Loops to keep it simple and cheep.
Lets keep the joy level high, and the frustration factor to a min.
Dave message sent thanks
This gets better everytime I read this thread. Shawn can you send me your address. A few of us on the “WEST” coast are putting a care package together with track and some rolling stock to send your way. Sure wish I lived closer so I could help.
Make sure to take lots of pictures when you start this project.
Chuck
Chuck,
It gets better because of people like you and Shawn and the others that have stepped up. It’s what our hobby is really about.
