Looking good, I like all the window details.
yes. that is first class modeling!
I think I’m about done, though I won’t put it outside until spring since I would like to bring it up to York.

Of course I couldn’t resist doing it in black and white…

Damn, youve outdone yourself again. Very, very nice. Youre making the rest of us look like scrubs.
You da bomb!
Huh?
Anyway, I really like the photo of the indoor aisles you did. Would you happen to have copies for sale, or electronic files you would share? Otherwise they are going to call store security for the guy with a camera in Aisle 4!
Excellent Bruce. I just reviewed the thread and found reading the construction tips again valuable.
Wow!
Very cool! (And I’m honored by the name!)
Incidentally, next time anyone’s at Target, check out the toy section. My daughter got a store playset a few weeks ago, complete with a gazillion cans, bins of fruit, sacks, candy jars, etc. They’re all scaled quite suitably for large scale. It was around $20. I want to do a window setting in my Neeleyton Supply building, and I think that some of this stuff might make its way into there. (More to the point, I’ll buy another one so I’m not stealing my daughter’s toys.) I forget the brand.

Another Museum Quality Masterpiece… Beautiful, Bruce…
I like it…a lot! Nice work, Bruce, though the guy out front there doesn’t resemble any Strong’s that I’ve met…
Are they the vinyl letters or decals?
Did you bend the brick sheet around the corners or is it pieced out? You may have told me but you know how us old guys are…
Great job Bruce, Well done:)
I always appreciate Bruce’s work. He has example of what can be done with the materials that he chose. Great work Bruce.
(Anyone think maybe Bruce should put a few of his builds into book form, add a few drawings/plans and maybe a few detail drawings for each model.) At least in PDF form and flog it to us LSC’ers.
Thanks, guys.
Ken, the brick sheet is bent around the corners. I found that the Plastruct sheet is a lot easier to bend than the Precision stuff, though it’s smaller and not as thick. The signs are all decals from Stan.
Randy, I don’t think the PDF would be real useful (or maybe it just sounds like too much work!) As an alternative, I do have all of my builds referenced in a Build Log Index.
Thanks.
Yea, the Plastruct does appear to be a bit more flexible then the PP stuff. I should have thought out the corners a little more. Live and learn…
Another great piece for your town Bruce. Well done
As always …nice work Bruce it looks great!
I usually focus on the equipment, and mainly the power. This level of detail in the layout is amazing to me. I wouldn’t expect it in large scale. Beautiful work, again.
Bruce, you are one prolific modeler. And a darn good one too. I thought that your latest build was perhaps your best, but then scrolled through your log and found so many other structures that looked dang nice. Interestingly, to me the Radder building looks a lot like the ones found in or around Jon’s birthplace, right Radder?
Very inspiring. Really great work.
