We’ve all heard them. Some radio or TV ad of a pollie wannanbe blasting his/her opponent over something that ALMOST makes sense, except it doesn’t.

Some people would LIKE you to believe that McCain is the same as Shrub, nevermind the record shows he holds different views on many issues, and the far right thinks he’s a traitor. They say since he is in the same party he WILL be another Shrub – fuzzy logic.

The will also say that since it happened on his watch Shrub and “his cronies” are totally responsible for the current mess the nation is in. Nevermind again that the seeds for some of it were sown under someone else’s watch, and the president SHOULD only pass or veto bills that are sent to him by CONGRESS, it’s all HIS fault. – more fuzzy logic.

I propose the following.-- If the Democratic party had not put bozos to run against him BOTH TIMES, then Shrub would have won neither election, it wouldn’t have even been close. Therefore, it is actually the DEMOCRATS fault that Shrub, Cheney and company were even IN office to wreak their havoc… Further if you hate Shrub then you SHOULD vote Republican. – If you think about it logically, it’s no fuzzier than the other two arguments.

Another bit of absurdity to ponder - Defenders of ACORN and the Democratic machines in several large cities state that voter fraud does not exist because those who voted were registered. Nevermind that some of the registered people who have voted have also been dead for years, have moved away or never existed in the first place.

My children ARE supervised...when they are with me anyway. When they are with my EX...well -- My daughter's dog is expecting puppies any day now...(want one?) AND I suppose I could always give both girls an espresso right before they go home............

I just saw a video clip of McCain bragging he voted with President Bush over 90% of the time.
Congress was Republican his first 4 years.
I think the only fuzzy logic here is yours.

I was trying to demonstrate absurdity, by being absurd…and I obviously failed.

Yes, I know about all of the times McCain has stuck his foot in his mouth… still about HALF as many as Biden. I’ve read reams about Palin, both the rabid frothings and the more balanced. I’ve even given Obama the benefit of the doubt and assumed that he slept through all those sermons given by his spiritual mentor.

Seems no matter WHO wins it will be pretty much the same circus, just with different clowns. In the end, it’s MY considered opinion that McCain will be the bozo that will do the least harm. Your mileage may vary. That’s why we vote.

It seems to me from my far off vision point, that the solution for all your problems is to allow a Mexican ex President to be your next President…!!!

Mr Fox, is available........hey, don't laugh....you guys have tried "Oil merchants", ex booze peddlers, Actors, and even "Old Boys" from all over play the roll of being your President.  You allow Mexicans to come across the border to do your lawn mowing and pool cleaning.......even other domestic work....you cry foul and complain about the weak fence trying to keep Mexicans out, but hire them at less than you would be willing to do the work for......why not let an experienced ex Mexican President have the job.....he's already trained  !!!  Give Cuba's "Almost" (Dead) retired President, the job as Vice President.....he won't cause too much of a stir, if you allow him to bring in good Cuban ceegars.....he might even help you guys have a restored friendship with Russia......that would help the whole World get along better.  BUT.....always insist on free elections every four years......!!!!

Heck maybe we should beat you guys to the punch and hire them both up here as Prime Minister, and opposition leader, of Canada…!!!

I would like to nominate our good padre as leader of the World.

He makes a lot more sense than some of the morons that we get to vote for.

They do much more than domestic chores. They do much of the construction. They work in the few factories we have left. Matter of fact, one of the few blue collar jobs left is truck driver.
And Bush was trying to take that away too by expanding the program allowing Mexican trucks on our highways before Congress shot that down.

Unfortunately, I don’t think this is one of those times. If Vincente Fox were elected Prez, he would then have to toe the party line about illegal aliens, and then have a mental breakdown. Of course, I would pay to watch that. :stuck_out_tongue:

Then we wouldn’t have any illegals to do “those jobs” because Vincente would be more effective at stopping the northbound traffic than any of the usual suspects

This whole thread is titled; “Fuzzy Logic”…what in heck are you expecting from anyone…any of you…!!!..?

I still like my idea of a Mexican born, already trained (Notice the railroad content), slightly used, but less expensive, President of the United States of America.

I’ll bet he would bring his own “Boot Boy” to shine his cowboy boots, and not require all the rooms in the WhiteHouse, so the surplace could be rented out to visiting Canadians at a great rate in US Dollars…!!!

Oh, if a Mexican President isn’t your cup of carrot juice, we could provide you with a slightly used Prime Minister (Retired) that can’t be understood in either of our official languages, along with one of his ex ministers, who just lost the election.
Both are born and raised in the Provice of Quebec and would fit nicely as President and VP…!!!
