Fr Fred in Hospital

Thank’s for the up date and always like Stan C. said, Great on Fred to hear good news…

I seem to have arrived home again. A bit pained, but a lot of the discomfort are the bloody staples they bind you back together with, along with the type of food you can have after any surgery done on the digestive tract. This was my second bit of surgery on the colon. Both times they removed about six inches of it…no Cancer involved, thank goodness. I won’t be doing much for a few weeks, as healing is still going on. No booze is recommended…but then most of you will probably be happier with a rather sober Fred…!!

I have to stand up rather straightly, for a moment, to pass out more thankfulness than most people can stand. THANK YOU, EVERYONE, for all your wonderful hopes for my recovery. I know that I consider LSC as a place to join like minded FRIENDS, but all I can say, at this point is>>>>THANK YOU ALL, FOR BEING MY FRIENDS. …and yes, Bob; I will try my darness to behave myself…!! THANK YOU.

Good to see most of you home again, Fred. Keep on healing.

Welcome back.

I was surprised and pleased to see you logged in tonight.

Try not to laugh!

Welcome back Phred, take it easy 'til you mend.

Welcome home Fred. Now you can tell 'em all you’re not quite as full of s*** as you used to be

and why the hell would you want to do that?..

Good to see your Friar avatar this morning. That told me you were back home.

You are over the worst - actually the anaesthesia is the dangerous part - so all that should happen now is that you slowly lose all the discomfort.

With much time on your hands I guess we can look forward to some more thought provoking posts from you.

If you can’t have a bheer then maybe some of us here can have one for you. (http://www.cosgan.de/images/smilie/musik/h025.gif)

Welcome back Fred. Glad everything worked out for you. Get some rest so you can run some trains (You might have to do the roundy round thing until you heal or is it heel)

Welcome back Fred
I think we all should take up the slack of Fred not drinking!
The next one is for Fred! :stuck_out_tongue:

Talked to him on the phone last nite. Doing well, but a bit uncomfortable, so we didn’t talk long. Should see the Dr in about a week so he’ll probably be more like his old self once the staples are out. It was good hearing his voice.

Welcome back Fred. Get well soon Later RJD

Imagine Fr. Fred behaving

So good to hear.

Thanks for the quick reply, Fred.

Maybe we can send you some warmer weather! Good to have you on the mend.

Welcome back Fred!
