Hans and others:
Is your take on the new owner’s response to the LGB press release a declaration, in effect, that LGB of America is virtually at the disposal of the new owner in Germany — IF the owner can establish with legal credibility he, in fact, does own all the trademarks and useage thereof?
Any information you have that affirms or denies the above?
Here’s my Large Scale Scorecard to date:
Large Scale has earned a reputation of continually providing interest far beyond the use of its products. The real ct most interesting remains the industry’s business practices. It appears to date, this is the only one that doesn’t cost us except for the time to express interest.
Some hightlights just don’t go away:
1 - Speculation as to the outcome for St. Aubin in Las Vegas;
2 - The continued practice of advertising years in advance for products that don’t exist --and may never;
3 - The production of products speculated based upon advance “orders”;
4 - The “beta testing” of products by consumers long after the production run has been completed and products sold;
5 - The remedy for product failures coming from product users (such as from our trusted evaluator and testing agent, TOC);
6 - The role or non-role of consumers in determining what products are produced;
7 - Finally, it is now time for LGB to be in the barrel – such as what Harley Davidson had and gave up to Honda, AMF, and finally rescuing its image from cops and outlaws.
Is LGB 2007’s Harley?
SELAH!
