I agree with Ray; it’s beautiful. What I like best, aside from the craftsmanship, is that you’ve captured the essence of the feel of the original. Way to go Bruce.

Thanks! I love that phrase “captured the essence”! Yeah, not a true model, but captured the essence! Too cool.
Well, I think I’ve finally finished this, but I will wait until the Spring to put it outside. In the meantime, I think it “captured the essence”. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)

Looks fantastic Bruce!
Another museum quality building… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)Building and the base board look fantastic… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)
Well done! What a great structure. The truck looks right at home in front. I also like the use of some model grass around it. Gives a nice buffer zone if you use any kind of mechanical means to keep the real vegetation in check. Will you add another picture once you plant it in the spring? I bet it will look even better when you do.
What they all said.
I don’t if I’d want to put that outside…(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)
I don’t see how it could be any better. The only thing I’d like to see is some signage painted on the brick, and some corresponding lettering on the fire truck. Should be a piece of cake for a sharp cookie like you!
If I made that building, I’d be damn well proud of it.
You have indeed “captured the essence,” said BGen Jack D. Ripper.

Tnanks!
Not sure what I’d letter on the building, but the truck DOES have a little bit…Nothing like what they would have today, but for the 1930s it’s probably good.(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)
Oh, and MANY thanks to Mark Dashnaw for the windows and stuff. Amazing quality!

Thanks. Oh yes. I will post a pic when it’s on the layout. I’m just thinking I might bring this to York for the ECLSTS.
