Very nice !
Well done, Bruce!
You did yourself proud, young fellow…thanks for the chat earlier…
Fred
Thanks all. Especially Fred…wow…he has really helped me get into this operations thing…
Fred does operations??
Rooster: only added this for post count purposes as that is his main concern!
Thanks guys. Just got back from the ECLSTS and had to put it outside. It looks better in natural light.
It looked mighty fine at the drag & brag to me. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)
That is just a wonderful firehouse.
Chris
Very cool Bruce. While I have enjoyed this build as a singularity when you see it blended in with the rest of the town it really comes to life. Fits right in. I would be proud to be a fireman that works out of that house.
Bruce,
When I saw your firehouse in person at the B&D, I was much more impressed with the workmanship.
Doc
Yea, it was much more impressive in person. Bigger than I thought.
Bruce: what kind of trees/bushes are those on your layout?
Firehouse looks much smaller outdoors than in the D&B.

Yes, I was very worried that it would look too big once I put it in place, but it seems to fit in OK.
Those are dwarf Alberta Spruce. They’ve been there for many years…probably need to trim them before Sean gets on my case.(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)
Firehouse looks great Bruce! Sorry we didn’t get to see it in person (and everyone) at the D&B but our hotel was about a hour away from the show.
All those structures, including the great fire house, look great. You nailed it. It’s fascinating going back to the beginning of the build and seeing where it all started. If I ever retire, I’d like to go out there and visit.
