Finis to an era

…I hope, NOT the last !!!

With the gasoline prices hitting $1.20 a liter, and probably reaching $1.50 by mid Summer; It truely is going to be a “New Era”, for most North Americans.

Can you imagine an average North American walking to work, or even to the corner…and leaving his/her gas-guzzler at home !!!

Train travel might again become popular…EGADS.

$2.40 here.

I’m paying $4.39/US Gal for diesasal. I think I’ll start using cold fusion, again.

getting real serious about that around here at my house!

cale

That was $2.40 a litre btw, not gallon. Save gas, fart in a jar.

I’m having a hitch installed on the front of my automobile, in order to hook a horse on…getting rid of the power steering and power brakes…ordering a 100 bales of hay and 50 bushells of oats…

And you will even get free fert for the yard on top of it all. :)

You think mechanics bills are high, wait till ya get the vets bill. Horses are more expensive then cars to keep up.

Sounds like "Muck Boots" are going to be the standard wear at this summers invasion. Probably save on cutting grass, also. I think the corral is going to have to be in the front yard.

I was going to harness up my sister in law but my brother didn’t approve…

Seems that “Thursday night chatting” is part of a “Past Era”…or the lack of it, is part of the “New” era…

No you all just go to bed to early.

I like to stay up and chat, but chatting with myself leads to total confusion. Now if there were a few others who were not too confused, we might be able to actually look over the problems of the World, and direct the general public to a way of enjoying life in a slightly confused manner, and not kill each other, looking for non-existing solutions.
Now; if you were not confused by the first paragraph; you should be now. !!!

Lead on McDuff…lead on to the NEW ERA…of organized CONFUSION.

…again…signs of a new era…young Terry got kicked off, but is welcomed back, by at least me…!!!
…and imediately pokes HJ in the back, to stir up some total confusion in the ranks !!!

Poking HJ seems more like par for the course than total confusion ...

Confusion, can keep one in a mindset, that helps develop a positive approach to everything.

In any “New era”, we usually start out with confusion, leading to total confusion, and then to a period of stagnation. At that time, the positive approach takes hold.

At the point of stagnation; the usual feeling is towards; what the heck…what can we loose when we have no-where to go but up…so, up we go, on to bigger and better days ahead…the positive approach.
