At least you could use the heat from the live steam engine to keep warm!
My setup at the St. Louis Metropolitan Train Show a week ago (sorry, not outside…)
Not a bad day for the middle of October. Sunny, high 60’s and the train bug was out…

Great picture. What’s that blooming? Ralph
In the background? Drift Roses…salmon, peach, ain’t sure which variety…
Great shots guy’s!
Robbie…don’t matter where or how they run…they always bring smiles!
Great shots Ken. I tried to get some trains running today but between the wind and blowing leaves the trains and cars kept derailing. I have to wait till the leaves are off the trees. Color is past peak here.
wonderful pictures, Ken… railroad looks good…
Now that most of the leaves are off the trees in the Kittatinny Mountains I was able to get the leaf blower out and clear the line (well most of it) I got some trains out running today. Morning temps have been in the 20"s and frost and daytime low 40’s.

The guys had a little extra cash so they bought a new plow for the line. They were planing on making one but they decided to use the materials for the climax.
Shawn, railroad looks fantastic…
indeed!
Shawn, I must again praise you on some great pics and a fine growing Railroad. But, as a senior member of the board I must again voice my discontent with the purchase of a new plow when the company has a very servicable one out behind the shops.
Shawn greats pics as always. Your RR has certainly matured in a few shorts years.
BUT!!! I must concur with Mr. D Marconi. I do not believe the Board was advised of this plan to aquire additional R of W equipment.

Thanks guys. LOL Dave and Randy the guys do apologize for not getting permission but the weather was turning colder and the last thing the guys needed was to be caught in a storm without a plow. They got a deal on this and could not pass it up. It will pay for itself because it will keep the line open better and will be able to get timber to the mill faster. Plus they really wanted to get going on the climax build if the trucks ever arrive. The plow behind the engine house was wrecked from last winters blizzard. They do plan on building a new one during the winter when they get the time. Plow blade is rusted away.
on the pictures
on my favorite plow!
David Russell said:Thanks Rooster but dont worry I have a plan for a new plow that you will like.
:) on the pictures :( on my favorite plow!
That reminds me, I have a snow plow to install before Winter.
Lookin good, Shawn. I’m still waiting for the rest of the leaves to drop off.
Ralph
Shawn,
Great pictures! Thanks for sharing.
