Large Scale Central

Fall ECLSTS

Who’s going to the Fall ECLSTS? (Sept. 25/26) - http://www.largescaletrainshows.com/cat_index_73.html

I’ll be there in a little booth somewhere, promoting the biz and giving a seminar on ladder support systems (tentatively scheduled for Friday at 2 pm).

-Brian

I’ll be going. You won’t be at your club layout?

I won’t be there…

Actually, the club won't be there due to a previous commitment the weekend before (Brunswick Railroad Days) and I'm currently not even a member.

DavidR, they picked the wrong weekend for the show....

That weekend is running trains in Nebraska City, Nebraska… Has been that way for the past 5 or 6 years now… Marty & Carrie graciously open their railroad up for the weekend, and we all go, eat, run trains, run trains, eat, run trains, run trains, eat…

We are with Andy and Jane, plus many others. Same dates in October and we may have attended.

I won’t be able to make it. My parole officer (SWMBO) says it is too far to go for a weekend.

Brian,
I will be there. Hope to see your seminar.

Brain I’m going and will try to hook-up. Will be with the “Inner City Layout” Sean

I’ll be stuck in my booth most of the time so I’ll be easy to find.
Update on the seminar time - Friday at 9:30 am in seminar room B off the vendor hall.

-Brian

I’d make the day trip down and back on Saturday if it didn’t conflict with Parent’s Weekend at Matt’s school. Hope you guys have a good time / do good business.

Cool…
I’m gonna sit in the back and yell “Play Freebird”

It was a good show, but there was no ladder road bed seminer? Bruce

Ya I noticed that too! It was my first show , I had this feeling of being inside the Garden Railway’s Mag. I was one of the gents helping run some trains for the " Inner City Railroad Club of Boston Ma." The circus train with the bubble car was a hit ,along with Thomas , of course the kids loved that! I ended up with 3 - 50’ LGB box cars "$40 each ", 3 - 53’ Aristo “Canadian” box cars "$39.99 each " and of course the show car!! It was a pleasure meeting every one @ the show and with luck “I’ll be back” . Sean McGillicuddy

How about a show report.

How was the turnout - both vendors and buyers ?

Were there enough layouts to use the separate hall ?

Did ya buy anything cool ?

here is a report from Trainworld…

I wonder what “holiday” they are talking about.
Also, the Fall show used to be in Georgia.
Maybe they should have left things as they were.
