Are you saying that using LSC as a calming place with life coaches is not a good idea?
Ended up working outdoors today until after dark, so no project work tonight. Taking it to work to spray paint the inside black, then it gets buttoned up and installed.
About this corner thing; If you are saying to reduce the area of the box by sliding the angled piece left, then the answer is no. Clearance is as tight as I am willing to go as shown. Changing which way the miter joints are done alone will not change anything.

Just take a minute and reread this post.
Jon , last ditch effort to help you see what I think will work for you.
Place a new top piece , on top of the piece standing upright (far left against the wall), and place the other end (with an angle cut ) on top of the angle cut piece (new piece just added) touching the stair stringer
Now remove the old piece ( it has some pencil marking) original roof, that is above the brake wheel…

If you move it up to the top of the plywood on the left of the picture, won’t that take care of the cut needed? Or at least most of it.
Alright - I finally get it. I can be pretty dense when it comes to spatial things. You are increasing the volume of the box by the 13/32 thickness. That wouldn’t help the grade unless the floor were also moved up. I’m not going to rebuild it at this point. It’s all assembled with brads and glue and painted inside.

Not exactly stilts - more like big honkin’ legs!!!
And wobbly it might have been, but I prepared for the uneven concrete by cutting the legs just a little short so I could shim to perfect height…
Once leg adjustments were complete, I added some 2x3 framing as a place to attach to the stairs…
And done…
I’m now ready to switch to the finish face for this spot - my Mik Challenge build.
If I can make the video work, here is a test run. No need for padding etc at the end of the box. It is just enough up grade inside the box to stop a car rolling from a few feet away…

Think about it; yes. Actually do something; no. The flat plywood face is all screwed on to allow opening and access to the space if needed. There is a lot of volume back there, so filling it would not be an economical option and may not even help much since the wall to the right is just a single layer of paneling with no insulation behind. I think the best plan is to squirt some great stuff in the cracks to close it off completely.
