cool! - no, strike that - cooool!
noel, when it is mounted, we get a set of the famous before and after pics, yes?
Hi Richard F… Well , Joel is coming over after his work around 2pm tomorrow ( Fri. ) to help me install the back drop and buildings to the storage shed…
Have to also, get the lights wired up to the yard walk way lighting. So most of the day will have the stuff off the layout to run. So ya, you’en all are welcome to run trains… Lots of changes been made, but easy to get use to them.

Here is the old view with nothing on the back drop of Bakers Acers Eng. Yard.

This is testing to see how it will fit with some building fronts and plain white backdrop panel.

Now with Backdrop painted as Korm requested it had to be done…LoL.

We sealed the back drop painting with dul coat to take the shine off.

We add a few extra rain clouds with some fly birds in the sky and on right end is a pond with a waterfall in to it… Sorry…Didn’t show up on these shots.
Now we are trying to fig. out where to put the rest of the stuff… Water Tower, Diesel fueling tank and Frt. shed.
May have to move some tracks somewhere or ?
We are trying to keep at least 4 foot walk way between the fence and the turntable area. Guess stuff keep growing.
Also, got to finish up the turntable operators shack and over head bow with light on it.
Noel,
That looks great. The backdrop actually makes the building look better (if that’s even possible). You did good. Be sure to post a photo when you have it all finished. I’ll come out and give it the final inspection.
That’s – um – REALLY cool.
Very nice.
well, Noel, reading the comments above, i think, you did it!

tk’s Korm… If you haven’t said anything, I would of probable never had painted it, but guess it was worth the taking it down and building off to re-doing it.
I remember yr’s back ( B. Ross) background painter. He use to be on PBS TV. that use to say while painting, “There lives a tree here and one up there and throw one over here.” on his canvas.
So I did the same and it even surprised me too how it came out…
Nice work Noel
Looks good Pap!
