Jon, I’ve booked at room at the Best Western 5 minutes down the road from The Wyndham.

That’s a good alternate. Still trying to decide if I am dragging the wife and dog along. If I do, there is a LaQuinta in the same area for $14/night more that takes pets. If it’s just me though, the Motel 6 North York has been a good clean place for real cheap.

Thanks Jon, I didn’t realize that a wife or dog could qualify for the “drag” part of the D&B. And since I’m not coming up with much to brag about on the railroady end, that opens up some other options…

Any word on what the show car is this year? no pictures up on their page yet.

Yerp. That’s what Dan from Star Hobby told me.

I check every day, almost, and have not seen pictures. Remember how long it took to get the date changed on the website, so it might be a couple of weeks. Don’t know who maintains the ECLSTS website.

That’s a shame. Websites are the way information gets to those who aren’t connected to a group in the know. Its like advertising. What car dealership is going to advertise a new for 2016 model for 3 years because no one bothered to update the TV advertisement? Someone should update the website once in a while.

NO WAY …you have a TV that shows advertisements ? Wait …you have an antenna don’t you ! Would love to have mine back that I took down after I purchased the house from my parents 25yrs ago.

With all the “unsolicited advise” Dan from Star Hobby gets, I’m sure he’s wondering how much his bottom line would change if this whole East Coast Show just went away?

I really appreciate Star Hobby keeping this show going one more year and that they are considering another show around the same time, next year.

For the 2nd year in a row I won’t be at the show. The dentist is getting my travel cash and I am in a boot for a problem with my right foot.
