Don’t forget to show your “loop and hook”. Or it is it “hook and loop”?

Is it show time yet…
I have a new list of items I will be shopping for!
Not just yet Vincent. There are 78 days to go it seems, so if you save a dollar per day you will have enough for the Show Car and some over I guess.
I wonder who is making the show car. Looks suspiciously like either an Aristo Classic Reefer, or one of USA’s American Classic reefers. Personally, I liked the older cars with ;little mention of the show, just a hard-to-find road name.
T-Shirt looks like a must-have though!
I will take one of each. Now I just need to fill out the vacation form, so I can get the time off from work to go.
I new beginning? Oh I hope so. I would hate to see the show go the way of the Midwest show.
I can run that car with my GR anniversary boxcar, my Kalamazoo anniversary boxcar, my MDC anniversary caboose and my LSOL tank cars. I just need a suitable locomotive for that train.
Jon, I think it is a USAT model. I guess the design is based on the fact that it is Harry’s first Show under his aegis, hence the commemorative design.
I do believe I have read, possibly on the Aristo Forum, that if things are successful then a Show Car in the Fall would be in a more conventional road name.
Do you think it looks like a B’man car?
I don’t think everyone realizes (I didn’t) that if you click on Event on the Right Side, you can see who’s attending an event and add your name if you want. Of course, it could have been there before and I didn’t see it.
Nice addition, Bob.
I saw Harry at a show this past weekend and the car is being made by USA.
Only 100 are being made 2 numbers so it is 50 each
Mike
Then we had better get ours as early as possible
I already put in dibs for a car, t-shirt and sweatshirt!
For those, like me, who were not at the WGH Show, here is Harry and his good lady on their stand.
58 days to go to the Show it seems.
Huumm…I see Jon Radder with a newly purchased AML car and Hollywood and myself are across the room up to no good

That’s nuthin new…you’re always up to no good…
That’s crazy. I spent maybe an hour in the vendor hall and I get in a picture! I found Rooster Dave, but I’m having a hard time IDing Hollywood Dave.
In front of Rooster, I found Hollywood before I found Rooster…
Tell me about it Jon…I spend most of my time outside the alcove
BTW…hollywood is straight above you and to the left of me you have to hit the pic itself to make it full size. I only went there to see the show car and the shirt and I was watching the banner pics go across when I spotted you…LMAO …busted!
Most likely can come in early Thursday and stay till Friday so if any clubs or vendors need
some extra man power to set up we can help, just not with not tear down. If needed send me a Private message and we can work the details out.
Nick
It is great to see the East Coast Large Scale Show being discussed here. Harry says that a rumour says it is cancelled. Far from it!! Just 46 days to go, so keep saving up your $$$$.
On another Forum he mentions the T Shirts as being in and some have sold already. The Show Cars should arrive this week and most importantly he is looking for folks to present seminars.
regards, Alan
How come So California doesn’t have a show with that many large scale venders? We have to have a large number of Garden Railroaders here.
;- (
They used to have the Queen Mary show which was all Large Scale and that eventually moved to Ontario, CA and became an all scales show. I’m not sure if even that is still going.
