Large Scale Central

ECLSTS 2016

Just 3 more days to go, woo hoo!

Just fyi, and no disrespect intended for those who attend Easter services in the same time frame. But about 2 hrs nw of York on Sunday is an “Easter train,” being supposedly pulled by an Alco 2-6-0.

Only on Saturday the 26th Cliff sorry(http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Ahh… thanks for the correction Dave.

[edit:] Doh!

Packing today, leave in the morning. This will be a different year. Things are changing and evolving, but its still fun.

The Everett RR is really up and coming. I pass right by it on my way to EBT work sessions. This is their “brand new” engine and is quite nice. The operator really seems to have some good ideas. We are leaving for home Saturday, so we may have to see if we can see some of this action on our way through.

Safe travels everyone! See you in York!

Went to do a job in Everett this AM and as I passed Charles Ro I saw two big white Ryder trucks being loaded.

At Noon I Was in Brookline NH and picked up Dave Millers modules. We have less memebers going because of the holiday.

Home now and finished loading the trailer for the drive to York Tomorrow AM.

Already 240 miles and haven’t even started.

I can probably meet you at the hall to help un-load and set up. Give my cell a ring when you get close.

Yea Randy. I hope to see yunz after Yunz get here.

“Yunz” like “Usn” as opposed to non-Yankee talk “Youall” and “Allyouall”?

My spell checker sez Y’all and Ally’all (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-surprised.gif)

And I’ll see Ally’all in about 48 hours. Safe travels y’all.

Well if you all come down I-83 into York you will pass Yocomtucky as we call it round here so all is good. Just in case you didn’t know this … http://yorkcity.org/history

If we go south or west, they call us “Yankees”. If we go north or east they call us “Rednecks” or even a “Copperhead”. I’m an American and very proud of it. Its all good, Ally’all call me whatcha want.

On the road in an hour, later.

I have a giant pile of for-sale-or-barter stuff in my shop ready to get loaded into the truck for the trip. As usual, Ill be leaving sometime between 7 and 8am tomorrow, with mid-to-late-afternoon arrival. Pondering what to bring for the Drag n’ Brag.

The day before? Funny, I started asking myself that the day after last year’s, haha!

Anything going on tonight?

Tomorrow night at the hotel bar(http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Tonight, after dinner, I plan on taking a nap, checking LSC, and then getting some sleep.

Interesting…http://www.eclsts.com/list-of-exhibitor-for-spring-eclsts.html

Show was toned down this year as expected on a holiday weekend. Tomorrow is another day though and if takes new vendors to keep the show going then so be it! I thank those that have kept the show going and hope it will continue!

We tried our best to buy everything in sight! Even stuff I had no idea I wanted but my wife told me we did!
