This has been a good news / bad news kid of week for me. Monday the alternator on my truck finally ceased. I was trying to limp it until the weekend so I could do it myself. Had to be towed to the shop to avoid ripping up the belt or worse. Told them I didn’t want any more crap alternators (this will be #4) so the got me the top of the line w/lifetime warranty. With some other minor work I got dinged for $800 not including the tow. That was part of the bad news. The other part of the bad news is recent gas price hikes.
But the gas prices are also good news. How can that be? Jet fuel is way up too driving airline prices up. My boss decided he can’t afford to fly to his trade show, so I can have Friday off 
So it looks like a late morning Friday arrival for me now. Just need to keep my wallet locked up.

And BTW I think Andy’s definition of “I don’t spend much” is a little different than ours.
