Now, if you put a haystack on it, I suspect his interest might increase :D
(perk) did someone mention a ""Haystack""??? :)
Andy, I thought you were cut off from Haystacks... :(
Steve.... If one can't splurge once in a while, then what good is eating.... :) I've made up my own kind of Haystack.... country fried steak, hash brown, 3 eggs, over medium placed on top of the hashbrowns, then it's all topped with sausage gravy.... :)

Your new Haystack should be beansprouts, on a bed of greens topped with tomato’s drizzled with vinegar and olive oil!

I vote for Andy’s version.

This has been a good news / bad news kid of week for me. Monday the alternator on my truck finally ceased. I was trying to limp it until the weekend so I could do it myself. Had to be towed to the shop to avoid ripping up the belt or worse. Told them I didn’t want any more crap alternators (this will be #4) so the got me the top of the line w/lifetime warranty. With some other minor work I got dinged for $800 not including the tow. That was part of the bad news. The other part of the bad news is recent gas price hikes.

But the gas prices are also good news. How can that be? Jet fuel is way up too driving airline prices up. My boss decided he can’t afford to fly to his trade show, so I can have Friday off

So it looks like a late morning Friday arrival for me now. Just need to keep my wallet locked up.

I say that every year, too. And somehow, when I get home, there's always something to unload from the van.......;)

I'm fortunate that I don't spend much at York.... :) I have to save my money for the Dough Balls in Orbisonia.... :)

Says the man who fills up Ric's van with grain hoppers every year...

Actually, the many club members who come to York ask ""Need some help getting those back home""?? and once their vechiles are loaded, Ric's van doesn't have any grain hoppers in it... :) just engines, parts and metal wheels.... :)

Heck…Andy has 4 large box cars awaiting him here in my cupboard…should I take them to York, so he can pay me for them ?

I would think so Fred…then you would have some ‘cash’ to leave in York.

And BTW I think Andy’s definition of “I don’t spend much” is a little different than ours.

…that is a thought…!!

OH, hell, I'll have Andy's version, too. You only go around once.

Hey, did you hear about the guy who had the Widowmaker Special at the Cardiac Cafe? Me neither… :stuck_out_tongue:

If Andy is going for a “Haystack” at the diner, on Saturday Morning; I get to sit next to him, and try to have a smaller variation on what he has…because he is bigger than I am…!!!

Should I wear my robes for breakfast, and accept confessions of "Over Purchasing"......I can celebrate a divorce or two if the occasion appears.....Branch Railroadians are a very flexable fellowship, and NOT a religious bunch of zelots......!!!!.........We celebrate FUN, and good times.....

You’ve not seen Andy in a while Fred…he’s only half the man he used to be! hehehehehe

<Steve… If one can’t splurge once in a while, then what good is eating… I’ve made up my own kind of Haystack… country fried steak, hash brown, 3 eggs, over medium placed on top of the hashbrowns, then it’s all topped with sausage gravy…>

Criminy! My cholesterol went up 50 points just reading that post.

Two weeks from now, we will all be heading home…

Fred, if you have room, you can bring them, if not, I'll get them in July.... :) Either way is fine with me...

What time is Breakfast Friday? Our dog has been getting us up at 3 or 4 AM for weeks. Might as well just get in the car and head out then :frowning:
