Devon's MIK 2021- Compressed air loco

Okay I’ll concede.

The only scotch I have tried tasted like camel piss and was as dry as the Gobi

Ya know, this question just begs to be asked. How do you know what camel piss taste like? I’m more of a Lagavulin man myself…

But further to the point, I’m still waiting for the pictures of the pink locomotive.

I’m guessing he is a little “under the weather” this morning from taste testing his buuuurbon last night. might take a while for him to become coherent! LOL

Bruce,

… Bulliet and Knob Creek…

Ah, so that’s what you’ll put in that tank. Sort of a locomotive version of a St Bernard. I like it. Extra points on this build for special functionality!!

I’m fine this morning. I did have a wee bit to much. But honestly how would I even know if I had a hangover. Headache, nausea, dizziness. Sounds like a normal morning

There was this one time. . . At band camp. . .

Pink parts.

I have painted them yellow now. And hats off to Craig. It does give it a good depth of color.

And a special shout out to Eric M for suggesting yellow. I would never had done it but I like it.

See it is a rum runner. It looks like a compressed air loco to fool the revenuers

No wonder there’s already 6 pages on this post, all you guys are talking about his alcohol. Lol

Interesting pink undercoat, never paint it yellow and you got a train for a little girl. Hehe

Ben, didn’t you know that trains just provide the frustration so we have an excuse to drink (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

Devon, camel piss, a boyfriend and now a pink locomotive … I don’t know whether to laugh or be concerned … I think I’ll just laugh, ha, ha (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-smile.gif)

Lol, I know right. Its my head. I’m blaming it on my head

In relation to Dans response.

I prefer smoking myself. Works just as well. B)

Trains drive you to smoking or smoking drives you to drinking? (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

Smoking is bad for you. Trains release endorphins that make you feel good and bourbon has a bounty of vitamins and minerals. . . As long as you drink it with vitamin and mineral supplements

Neither, i just do it because I enjoy it lol.

I’m pretty sure that smoking electric trains could drive one to drinking.

And …

It is also possible that a smoking electric train could drive one’s drink to them.

The world is full of possibilities.

Glad to be of service!

I have a confession. While I always look forward to the challenge each year, and did this year as well, my focus is elsewhere. I haven’t said much lately because frankly its just becoming another day in the life. But shunt #3 is a failure and I have been suffering. The sob story is that after work I don’t have much energy and my vision is back to being real wonky and it makes it hard to see what I am doing. Then there is just the headache stealing any thunder I have left. I am not bowing out, I will finish. It just may not be with my usual enthusiasm. The bright side is the challenge finishes up just in time to head to Seattle for surgery #8.

But this is why I have not had as much progress as I normally would by this point. I am hoping just to finish.

Plenty of time post op in the hospital, right? I see no problems with foreign objects entering your body on accident…
