Devon's MIK 2021- Compressed air loco

It doesn’t take much to feel better than I look

Devon, So glad to hear you’re back and doing well. You’ve fired me up with the Lionel equipment from Steve. Added several Woodland Scenic buildings, additional cars, more track, another engine and am starting to build the frame system. Will keep you posted. Too cold and snowy to play with the G stuff yet. Stay healthy and well and heal.

Love it Rick. I am sure Steve is smiling in approval. Can’t wait to see the O empire.

I dont think I will finish before tomorrow morning when I will have to leave for Seattle. But I am plugging along. The main part of the tender is made. Just needs detailing now.

The valve and hose i am pretty happy with. I made the valve manifold so that its hollow and the wires are fed through it. Then the heat shrink makes the hose. So form and function. Allows me to connect the loco to the tender for battery power.

Please don’t quit on this as it’s not ugly enough yet! Love the yellow but needs more rivets for maximum weathering (thinking rust and grease). If my opinion matters I personally think you got the tank nailed so focus on ugliness below that. It needs ditch lites and great start on the HEP cabling !

Just saying !
