Still page 6 or edit for a blank page 7 ?
That is some very nice work David. The crosshead and valve work looks good.
(Maybe this will get it to page 7)
Rodney
Thank you Rodney…I don’t have the tools you have(I’m jealous… ) so I gotta make each piece by hand and use materials that I can work with which is fine with me and all part of the fun. So far no LGB products have been harmed!

David
You are doing a super job for the tools you have. One thing tough is are you using the motor worm to drive the stock gear on the driver or are you using all the gears???

All I can get in there is a direct drive and might not even get that in there…was thinkin I could control the input voltage so I don’t have a rocket. The other plan was to power the trailing car.
Hey David is there enough room to use a stock connie drive with the motor setting vertical??? I have a extra with a Delrin gear I will send you.
You will need a press or drill press to install the gear onto the axle.
Rodney
Is it done yet.

Rodney, Can I sit on that offer and think it out a bit ! I get in trouble for moving to fast at times and this steam stuff is way outside of my envelope so I have no idea what a Connie drive looks like…I will research it and take you up on that if I think it will work. Thank you!!!
