I still can’t believe I made it work. When I first saw the prototype, I thought it was cool and I wanted to attempt to build it even though I was told to pick something easier to model. My response was “that thing is pretty simple and straight forward”. BOY did I learn a lot from this build!! Some of the crew here was a big help in educating me on steam locomotives and for that I thank you (you know who you are).
My goal is to finish it this summer and get some GOOD video of it pulling the combination car over my bridges (as that was it’s prototypical purpose). It will then reside on loan at our local museum with the combination car for their CVRR room.
