Large Scale Central

CVRR OCS

OK I’m calling this car done and shelving it till warmer weather.

Made and added the last few details ,sinclair antenna, grabs on the rear entry door and mirrors. Also changed the striping on the back. Time to move on to other projects.

Nice work, Son…

Really nice, Rooz…

Looking good. Hope to see it at York.

Thanks guys

As always with your builds - amazing work and attention to detail. Keep it up!

My only question… what’s he gonna pull them with?

Its kinda scary when you think about it… Rooster going freelance? all that energy spend making those Amtrak cars accurate, going into pure, unadulterated creative imagineering? Watch out Disney!

Rooster’s gonna pull them with an Aristo Lil Critter between every car… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-sealed.gif)

Nicely done, Rooster.

Would this be called a “Business Car”, or what?

I only told Ric this just to mislead you Dad

Very nicely done, David…

BTW, the Diesel Electric locomotive that was mentioned on the chat on Wednesday evening, with the 6 wheeled rear truck, was built by Fairbanks Morse. It was a C16-5…CN had six of them. They were in passenger service, and had steam generators for passenger trains.

You can find out more from a “Diesel Spotters’ handbook”, or probably Google. There was a model of this in Brass, in HO Scale.

Thank you Fred however I didn’t mention it nor do I care if it has a steam generator or not cause as you should have noted my equitment is all head end powered.

Fairbanks Morse CPA16-5

Good looking locomotive. I wonder what those B Units are?

Amazing work there David. I understand you reaching a limit with something, good to stop before you lose interest. Can always come back someday to finish up a thing or two.

Looks great! You gonna bring them to york? That way I can push them on the floor to see how well they’re built.
