So, if Rooster could care less about spelling, does that mean that he cares somewhat for spelling, or have you just made another misteak in grammer?
ps, I got an A in Creative Speling.

We just don’t care.
I did have to fatten up the trim and corner boards as the factory one’s just didn’t look correct. Also shaved down/shortened the watertable/sill under the windows

Very nice job. Not a car you would see everyday. What color will it be?
Uh, this doesn’t count in any new “challenge”, yuh know.
Is it done yet?
Hey Rooster this car looks “Fabulous”. Looking forward to seeing the finished project.
Page 4?
What a workbench should look like ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
It’s not done yet but getting there. Not sure what I’m gonna do with it when I’m done as It won’t fit in on my RR theme…But I just wanted it?
Is it finished yet ???

Looks nice so far.
What to do with it? Simple. Outfit it with proper HEP and air line connectors. Upgrade the trucks and wheels to current standards and it becomes historical private varnish on the tail-end of your Amtrack train They might ask you to put a steel frame under it too

Edit to add: And FRA glazing. The list of upgrades needed to ride behind Amtrack is just about endless, but most are invisible

David Russell said:For a static display, build the funky 2-2-2. If you want to run it, the B'mann American, as Ken suggested, would be an easy solution. RC/Battery it and make it your "traveling" rig for visiting fellow train nuts. The electronics would fit nicely in the "baggage" compartment ;) Ralph

Since that was such a smooth build, research other cars for that RR.
Build a couple more. Add the Bachmann American and run the consist
at all your diesel buddies RR.
Why stop now?
Or send it to me…

Looking good Rooster. IMHO the seats need to be toned down a smidge , but they look great. That railing is right sharp by itself for a simple kitbash

yep, well within
The Pioneer wasn’t at the museum when I was there.
I think it was enroute but hadn’t arrived.
Was it one of the locomotives damaged when the roof fell in, or had they just aquired it ?
Ralph
Here’s a little history of the Pioneer…

This ones a PDF and takes awhile…the Pioneer is about halfway down the file (page21).

Thanks Ken,
Very interesting, indeed
