Large Scale Central

Creameries

Rich, I didn’t apply anything to them…yet.

I have 2 other buildings with that same stone veneer on it and it looks to be holding up ok.

Notice that he doesn’t mention how “EASY” it is to switch ANY of these industries…yeah…it’s all about Precision Products…

I certainly don’t want to discourage anyone who wants to come over and operate on the layout.

If it was EASY anyone could do it…

And this is coming from a guy who dreamed up this diabolical situation…

“except I don’t think I have any more room on the layout, but ya never know”

Seriously? Did you really say that?

I added a caveat…

Oh, Bruce, that tail-to tail Y setup is nasty.
I’m going to copy it.
HA HA!
Then I’ll invite Ken over.

That fits in nice with everything. Looking good. One day Ill get down by you.

Shawn, it’s well worth the trip, and on numerous occasions… Ken’s got a great railroad…

Yeah anyway Ric!

He needs a large outside loop with fully welded rail

As much as I hate to agree with my Dad this is the truth Shawn…really worth the visit and Strasburg is real close. Just don’t bust up the plumbing like Fred did once!

Thank you, fellas, I appreciate that. Makes all the work seem worth it…

Well, now that you have the creamery complete, do you have any special plans for Milk cars?

Perhaps the traditional…

But I like this one, too

I have thought about an Abbott’s Milk Car. They were the predominant Milk Producer around here for years and bought out most of the creameries along the LO&S and the PB&W.

When I was a kid, they delivered milk to just about everyone in the neighborhood.

Something like this one, perhaps?

And maybe some milk trucks to go with them?

You could do an older version of this

Now THIS would fit on your RR…

That’s not too far removed from how it was delivered on my street…just didn’t have the horse…

What? Did the guy get out and push it?

All this is missin is the horse…

So, you going to make that truck? Could be a neat model…
