Large Scale Central

Creameries

There was an old style delivery van, very similiar to the picture Ken posted, however the front is a little more modern… Fresh coat of paint and some decals, and it would look great…

Creamery looks great in place Ken.

I have lots of detail shots of that B&M Milk Car if anyone wants them… It’s at Thomaston, CT at the Railroad Museum of New England.

Ralph, that was a suggestion for Ken…

Here’s a good looking and very easy car type…

About all you’d need is a flatcar and material & decals for the tank.

Andy,
I was referring to the double post quoting yourself. It seemed you were having computer issues
Ralph

Ralph, I hit Quote, instead of edit… Didn’t catch it until after I hit the post reply button…

I figured as much, Andy.
It was a very lame and unsuccessful attempt by me to bust your chops
Ralph

BBQ chops??? who’s cooking??

Greetings Ken, I often look at your posts: they, along with the other modelling posts, make this place worth visiting. Your work is always informative and encouraging for sure.

You probably have decided where you go from here, as far as cars and road vehicles are concerned. However, you might find this link of interest.

Thanks, Alan, that was very interesting…

Saved, thanks, Alan

In my researches for suitable industries I came across this Hershey web site.

It certainly is probably an unusual method of getting the milk to the processing plant. I do not believe I would incorporate a trolley system - WOW! how the imagination can run riot - with my railroad but there are some great ideas here I am sure.

I really like that wood Hood’s reefer.
I see a 40’ reefer build in the future.
Thanks, Alan.
