Conclusion of "Troopergate"

I am over it, although my kids won't be over it--they will be paying off Bush's debts for years and years to come.

But my point is, you’ve got to let it go. Things could change, but it looks extremely good for Obama right now. If he wins, pumping up fantasies about how ACORN stole the election is not going to do Republicans any good.

Tell that to the 9,000 attorneys that the Democrats (plural of Democrat) have on retainer, for use if the election goes against them.

Oh, yeah, we are still paying off FDR’s war debt, too, as well as his New Deal debt, and Truman’s Fair Deal, and Johnson’s war debt, and his Great Society debt, and so on… And it was Bubba who decided to tap into the Social Insecurity Trust Fund and writ IOU’s to cover (snicker) That was one of the best ones!

BTW, Mike, I am still waiting for your report on Taffey 3. If you don’t know, and don’t have the time to look it up, you can always assign it to one of your freshmen. It might open his/her eyes.

Even the New York Times, after an extensive recount of Florida votes, said that Bush won Florida.
Yes Stevie, it's getting closer to Christmas, yes, there is a Santa Claus.
You heard it here first, folks! :D Thanks for telling us the truth, Hansie!
You're welcome, I thought that would lighten up your day. One more phantasy to go with the rest! ;) :)

HJ, weren’t you getting on somebody’s case about speling?

…grinning…

Low bridge, everybody down…

Another thing I've learned over the years is that if your not part of the solution, then you must be part of the problem. Guys like Biden and Obama I consider as part of the problem, not the solution.
We may be SOL, as I certainly consider McCain to be part of the problem. A career politician as measured by any stick. Ralph

PS Wikipedia has a long article on the Washington State election which is interesting and well documented. It makes no mention of ACORN, and says tat the lost ballots were discovered when King County Council Chairman Larry Phillips noticed that his absentee ballot had not been counted.
Mike, when was the last time that you noticed that your absentee ballot had not been counted, and how did you go about noticing that it had not been counted? Something smells fishy here.

Steve,

I had that luxury for awhile. I lived in a remote part of the county where the precinct had 14 to 24 voters. Being the only "right-minded’ voter, I could easily check and see if my vote had been counted. Otherwise I don’t have a clue how one would do it.

A career politician, and veteran, with a track record of goring other people's sacred cows and generally being his own man, -vs- a TOO glib relative newcomer with almost no "track record" to show at all DESPITE all his alleged talent, but lots of ties to people and groups with questionable ethics and outright disdain for just about everything concerning the country they live in? (Who also pretty much believes the OPPOSITE of what I do on so many issues)
