Not surprising, since the whole panel was made up of Democrats.

Steve,
Did you actually read that article?

It says the panel was bi-partisan.

Don’t believe everything you read, Tony…

Well was it or was it not bi-partisan?

Steve did say whole panel. Not just a majority.

Or is that being nit picking?

If MSNBC put half as much effort into investigating Obama’s background as they are in Palin’s, we’d be having a very different election.

I think she should have shot him

Do you not think the RNC, the FNC, and the Clintons have not been digging through Obama's background for the past two years? The best they can do is a loose association with Bill Ayers. What do you think they missed Ken? Palin was a relative unknown (even to McCain, I'm guessing). Don't you want to know all you can about a potential Vice President?

On the Palin issue - If my sister had a SOB of an ex and I thought I had the power to get rid of him, I would. Then I would stand behind my actions and not lie about them.

That’s funny…I haven’t seen a thing on the MSM or MSNBC about his shady connections to ACORN, Ayers, the Woods foundation, Project Vote, Kahlil, Rezko, Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac…unless I missed it somewhere… Michelle Obama was asked about the relationship on “Larry King Live” on Thursday. “I don’t know anyone in Chicago who is heavily involved in education policy who doesn’t know Bill Ayers,” she said. Or his background? When Obama did find out, and learned Ayers did not regret his deeds, the savvy and politically ambitious Obama should have dropped him like the plague. Instead, he lied (and that’s the only word for it) about their relationship. Barack Obama’s track record on “real issues” is no better than his track record on issues of character and judgment. The media’s track record of conveying the facts to the public is a travesty of their claims about “the public’s right to know.” If John McCain had made half as many gaffes as Barack Obama — “all 57 states,” for example — they would be picturing him as senile. Meanwhile, the prospect of a nuclear-armed Iran supplying its terrorist surrogates with nukes does not interest the media nearly as much as scoring “gotchas” against Sarah Palin.

The head of the panel that just lynched Guv’nor Palin said a month or so back, “We are going to produce an October Surprise.” He was told to apologize, but did not change his mind.

So, as Gomer Pyle used to say, “Surprise, surprise!”

This was supposed to be done when the whole legislature reconvened in March of 2009, but the Democrat in charge of this “panel” decided that it needed to be done now. In the interests of “fairness,” you understand.

Brian,

You should probably read more than just Obama/PMSNBC before posting your “garbage.” Try reading this. I think that you try to be intellectually honest, don’t you?

Steve,

I have no idea where the Canadian papers i.e. the Globe & Mail acquired their bias, they just reported that a bipartisan panel voted on the report’s findings. It was also bipartisan approval that established the inquiry. Were there any shotguns involved when establishing the inquiry? I doubt it!

I’m still waiting to for Steve and Ken to provide evidence the panel was NOT Bi-Partisan. …and wholly comprised of Democrats.

Tony,

The Governor may be out of the State, but she isn’t out of the woods. AND there is one more inquiry still running.

It is delightful to see that for once the usual stall and procrastinate routine didn’t work, too often these things are left to simmer on the backburner for fear it could influence the electorate. Wellllll, heaven forbid that should happen, usually the electorate doesn’t pay much attention to the findings of most inquiries. BUT there are always exceptions.

So, Guv’nor Palin was found guilty of not reigning in her spouse. I wonder if the same thing could apply to Bubba?

HJ,
Far be it for me to comment on USA domestic politics but I do like to be able to read about what is going on, as here in OZ we will be affected by the outcome of the USA Presidential election.
In order to be able to better understand the issues I like to be informed with facts. Not simple opinions that cannot be backed up by evidence.

BTW. As an aside and to gain some insight from sages past, about 10 years ago I read one of the Nostradamus books. In it there was a section that predicted the future with interpretations of some of the quatrains that had not yet been linked to past events.
One of them was referring to the “young” President of the New World who “removed” troops from the Middle East conflicts.
With the operative word being young, I wonder who that could possibly be?

Tony,

That could be McCain in disguise.

The way I read that inquiry report write-up she has an ethics problem! And she's out there campaigning, proving it each and every day!

Wasnt this whole investigation already well underway BEFORE she got the VP nood?

If anyone is to blame it should be the people on Mickey C’s staff that bungled the background check…

Hmmmmmm, veeerrrrrrrrrryyyy interestink. 2 pages of responses condemning Palin, saying she shouldn’t be running, and how horrible she is (again). Over a political hack job report (No it wasn’t just Dems on the panel, but she pissed off people in BOTH parties on the way to the governor’s mansion. No, I don’t understand enough of Alaska’s state politics to know how many on the commission were people she crossed swords with, or friends of the same… Something telling though, she EXPOSED people with MAJOR ethics problems for years. Yet when these people decided to use her OWN tactics against her to cause her embarrassment at a “coincidentally” crucial time, this is the BEST that they could come up with??? Woo Hoo! She’s a such rotten person! Lock her up and throw away the key! Make her take a politically correct sensitivity course every day and twice on Sunday until hell freezes over! Throw the baby out with the bathwater! (Oops, that’s the other thread… except without any bathwater) Anybody stop to ask whether the ex-brother-in-law, AND the safety commissioner MIGHT have actually DONE something to DESERVE to be fired? Nah, that isn’t really germaine, is it?

Meanwhile, when something that questions OBAMA’s suitability gets posted and one of the FEW responses is “Don’t put that garbage here!” Nice job guys, thank you SO MUCH for keeping and displaying such an open mind.
