Glad to help, Ken. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

Don’t feel bad Ric, took me awhile to see them too. “Ok, a baking sheet with a bunch of magnets in it”…(http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Sure…if you can find a baking sheet that is actually magnetic (i.e. NOT aluminum) and has true 90 degree corners and sides…(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)

Anyway, I find it very handy for keeping things square - as long as they can fit in there. Probably more useful for the smaller scales. And, it doesn’t seem to help when building an octagon. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cry.gif)

A bit more progress.

Lately I’ve been troubled by little gnomes. I cut a piece and it fits perfectly, but when I come back after the glue has dried it has not only moved from its original position, but changed shape as well. Dang gnomes! Anyway, that’s why you see some bondo on there…

It looks a bit better after a coat of primer.

Just as a side note, rectangles are a whole lot easier to build than octagons. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-embarassed.gif)

Rectangles are so behind the times. Octagons are where it’s at these days!

I like Bondo.

Apparently many do. In fact, that appears to be the favorite color of Camaro owners…(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)

The depot looks good. Was the upper room actually used or was it just for looks?

Good question. I suspect it was used as an observation tower, but no idea. It would be pretty cramped…

That looks great Bruce! The octagon may be more effort but it sure pays off with a cool and unique model.

That room could be used to house a Rooster…

Pretty much done. I’m planning to put it outside after York…

Nice! What’s the roofing?

Thanks. That roof is just “Precision” Products stuff: steel rib roofing. I painted it with Sophisticated Finishes Platinum. I did have to piece it together as I forgot to order a sheet…thought I had enough. It’s a shame pieces can’t line up…(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cry.gif)

Almost done!

I thought about that Sean, but $8.50 for shipping seems a tad steep. Not only that, there’s no indication of the type of material; it may not last outside.

Would be cool…

Con Bob into going to Amherst NH to the store , to ask and …maybe bring to York

Beautiful building, Bruce… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Needs a rooster on the roof…(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)
