LUV IT! What a diabolical masterful scheme you have hatched. If today was the end and not the beginning surely you would be the Winner.
Looking forward to following your build log.

My oh my but this sounds like a good one. As a kid I loved watching the Great Race, Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines, It’s a Mad, Mad, etc. World on the black & white set. [back before VCRs so if you wanted to see a movie then you better darned well be home when it came on and make sure you had fresh aluminum foil on the rabbit ears for best reception.
Are there deadlines or other rules for this here challenge?
Scott
Scott,
The rules are here… http://www.largescalecentral.com/forums/topic/22847/mik-s-build-challenge-2015/view/page/1
Thanks Joe. I’ve been off line with other projects and found the Mik Build Challenge rules right after posting to this thread.
Traveling this month so I won’t be able to compete/participate…bummer.
I think boomer is using intimidation as one of his tactics
Looks like it’s working, eh?
Sorry, folks, this is just too silly for me. I guess that means I’ve got no imagination, But I’ll watch with bated breath to see how it turns out!
With the exceptions of a fairy train and LBG’s fortuna flyer, I’m live in a whimsey-free zone.
Doesn’t Professor Fate’s endeavors always end with a rather substantial cloud of smoke and a sizable crater ???
@Dick F. Hey guy… Build it to Build… Then donate it to any of several places like a childrens hospital train layout. The kids will love it.
Dick,
Whimsey is in the eye of the beholder. John is building something much more down to earth but still whimsical in a prototypical way.
WOW !!!
Boomer it’s been 4 days and you know you cannot go off your meds for that long. Remember the last time!
Maybe we should start a new award… The best use of the blue tape and packing material!
You are having way too much fun Boomer and we are enjoying it.
You have a solid plan there. The most I have done is to add a few more dots a line and an arrow to my napkin sketch.
Keep up the good work.
YET!
Love it so far.
Neat looking beast. Like the flashy red fenders…cool.
Tom
Sweet!!!
That ain’t no Tennesse B’ar there…probably some creation out of Disneyland or somewhere’s out west. The Little River Bruins disavow any knowledge of said furry creature.
Enjoying the laughs…Doc Tom
