Great! Now we have to put up with the “Soup N*zi” this weekend. Thanks Aaron, paybacks can be really difficult in a very hot place. (working on my political correctness)

We had a lot of rain on Friday night/ Saturday morning and as we left for breakfast the sky was not looking good. However, as the day progressed things improved and some trains were run. I know pictures were taken, so they will get posted as time permits. Today, Sunday, a cold front has passed through and it is gorgeous. High temp is suppose to be 70, so perfect running temps and it all begins, right after breakfast.
As Ric stated above. The weekends Ops session started Friday Night, early Saturday morning with heavy rain and thunder boomers… When the rain stopped early Saturday morning, the was 3 and 1/2 inches in the rain gauge…

Below is the west side of the house-layout… Prior to building the spillway, this whole area would back up with water, and look like a nice sized pond…

How long a train was the BLU-EVA freight? You keeping them all at 20 cars roughly?

Basically, Matt, I am… The BLU-EVA train is 15 covered hoppers and 3 50 ft boxcars… With that amount of freight cars, it can support either the MCL-1 or MCL-2 locals that depart from Evansville… MCL-1 would run with 2 less hoppers, and MCL-2 would run with 1 less boxcar…
All my train lengths are basically based on mainline, or local siding lengths… Locals are based on siding lengths and/or facility demands/requirements.
