How long a train was the BLU-EVA freight? You keeping them all at 20 cars roughly?

He keeps them long enough to confuse you when you get to where they’re going…(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Ken, You almost make that sound like that’s a bad thing… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Worn with pride! I’m still playing with trains and having fun.

Big thanks to Andy and Jane for another great weekend.

If you haven’t made the trek to the Bluestone Southern, its a great event. No experience required. Don’t feel intimidated or think its too much. There are lots of people around to keep you out of too much trouble. However, pictures are taken and real screw ups can even get turned in to a video.

I beg your pardon. A 15 car train uphill is a load. It takes watching the whole train and slow speed to keep from “clothslining” or just coming apart because of the strain. Amazing how much strain is on the couplers. Great fun!

Sorry, Ric, but you looked like you lost something and couldn’t remember where you put it. Ya know, the old guy thing.

Hey Lou, I had that problem before I got to be this old. So its not just an old guy thing anymore.

Ric, don’t beg. It’s unbecoming of a Senior Chief, even if he is a Coastie. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Ric, not Rich, and a little humility is good for the soul. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)(http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

I hate Bill Gates.

Yes, it is, isn’t it, David? You haven’t served, have you?

Steve, yea, Bill has caused all of us some headaches, along with hours of enjoyment, entertainment and information.

No Steve, I didn’t serve. The recruiter was so intent on me becoming a nuke, that I just walked out. I didn’t want to be a nuke.

Tis true, Steve. But I was working hard to be polite. Just a Chief, not a Senior Chief, never made the extra Star over the anchors.(http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Right. One excuse is as good as the next.
