Bluestone Southern Update

Have managed to get down some subroadbed in hopes to start installing track connecting Memphis/Evansville area to the Bluestone Southern… Below are some shots of the roadbed and such:

Jane packing in the roadbed, and her supervisor back in the distance…

We finished the wall this afternoon… supposed to be rain off and on from tonight thru Sunday… Hopefully, this will help pack in the roadbed and dirt fill that’s been placed…

are you workaholics?
you’ve got one nice - and large - layout, a garden bigger than some farms i know, and are building a whole new layout? whow!

Korm?? We are both ““gluttons for punishment””…

Man - I wish I had your motivation to get out there and work. I’ve been hiding indoors ever since the temps dropped and rains started a few weeks ago. Supposed to have some nice weather part of this weekend, maybe I’ll work on some unfinished RR projects.

Your work looks great as usual. Hope I can get out there someday and see it in person.

I hope this is being done in anticipation of an operating session in November. Looking forward to it and to seeing all the progress.

Looking good Andy. That is going to be one great looking layout when complete. (Is it done yet) It still looks like summer over that way. Our leaves are near peak and already falling. Make sure you tell Jane shes doing a good job.

Ken, yes.... am trying to bridge the waterway, and get at least 3 yard tracks over on the Evansville-Memphis area.... trying to connect both ends...

That’s awesome!

-Kevin.

I sure hope you get some assistance before you do operations. That is really going to look great since it already looks great!.

Looks great Andy. Makes my back hurt to look at the work though!

thanks for the comments, guys…

Jerry?? my back, my feet, my arms…

Nice addition Andy. Jane is doing a fine job.

I have Garden Metal Models decking to place on both bridges, which will be set, when track starts to get installed, later this week…

That looks good Andy. Is it done yet. Not sure why its taking you soooooo long

Beautiful scenery , I really can tell when a train watcher builds a layout , its so life like .

It takes time, Shawn. He only has one wife to do the work for him :D Ralph

Got the other wooden bridges installed for the Hilltop Subdivision… These span waterways for rain runoff…

No time left for slacking - get to work!

Looking good Andy. Hope to get there some day.
