Great pictures, Andy! Can’t wait to see what Boomer and Hollywood post whenever the get recovered. Being a west coast guy , what rr is EVWR?

Great pics. Beautiful RR. I like that SP high cube.

Where’s Ken and Rooster? (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Thanks Pete…

EVWR is a shortline that runs thru my town… EVWR = Evansville Western Railroad… Basically, it’s a 124 mile long line from Evansville, Indiana to Okawville, Illinois…

On this end of the line, it basically works the Ag Elevators…

EVWR does have a website, if you are interested…

Thanks Joe…

Ken usually comes out in Oct, along with a few others…

Rooster’s not allowed more than 500 feet from home… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-sealed.gif)

hehehe Besides, if he comes here, all he’ll do is ask for 20 dollars… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

500 feet? that’s not so bad. He still can probably see everything pretty well!

Joe, with those chicken eyes, for him it’s like looking thru a pin hole in a cardboard box… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-innocent.gif)(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Joe

That’s me about 500 feet from the Freeman Spur with Woodlawn in the background. Note my summertime haircut.

Andy, do you allow foreign power on your RR?

Chris, always… Track has no power, so loco’s need to be battery powered or ““Controlled”” live steam…

They will be battery / RC. Maybe next year I can bring my SD40Ns to one of your sessions. You are only about 8 hours if I take the scenic route.

Chris. more than welcome… I usually post the Ops schedule here about January for the year…

Also, my freight cars are body mounted Kadee couplers, at Kadee’s gauge height… I do have some “'transition cars”", but those are truck mounts…

Yanno, Rooster actually looks better upside down… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Aside from a couple of PM’s from Ken pointing me to the Best Western in Louisville, I haven’t seen info on LSC yet about the Clarkes’ ops session coming up in October. Maybe that discussion has started here someplace…

Looks like almost 12 hours to Nashville IL. I’m beginning to make plans to come…

Andy and Jane, please let me know your address and the dates. Yup, I guess that’d be a good place to start.

Thanks to both of you, and cheers as always!
