Bluestone Southern Ops June 2018

Aside from a couple of PM’s from Ken pointing me to the Best Western in Louisville, I haven’t seen info on LSC yet about the Clarkes’ ops session coming up in October. Maybe that discussion has started here someplace…

Looks like almost 12 hours to Nashville IL. I’m beginning to make plans to come…

Andy and Jane, please let me know your address and the dates. Yup, I guess that’d be a good place to start.

Thanks to both of you, and cheers as always!

John,

On the home page, there’s a column on the left called Upcoming Events. The October session is listed there, and links to here: https://www.largescalecentral.com/event/54

And the Best Western is in Nashville, not Louisville…(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

And when you get to that, we an get you to Andy’s.

Just to be clear, it’s Nashville, Illinois! (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)(Not Tennessee)

Thanks for the updates, guys. Noelle and I have signed on.

Cool! Looking forward to seeing you! How long of a drive is it for you? It’s just over 800 miles for us and we usually do it in two days on the way out, one day on the way back. On the way out, we stop in Corydon, Indiana. For us, there’s also a time zone change to factor in.

Yea, same here. I usually hit the Flying J between Lexington and Louisville on the way out and just sleep in the car, and stop at an Army buddy in Louisville on the way home.

Looking forward to seeing all y’all as well, Bruce and Ken. It’s been quite awhile, Bruce. I hope jean is better and can come along. As for itinerary, it’s about 12 hours’ drive. Noelle is fine with sleeping at truckstops / service centers.

I am hoping to work on one or two other things, or better, people, to visit while making this trip. We’ll see how this pans out…

By the way, last Thursday in Belleville, Barry and Bonnie Birkett held an operating session. Lotta’ bugs are worked out, some track additions, garden looks amazing, Fred and about ten guys from Ottawa were there, great conversation, operations went awesomely. Tom Legel drove up from near your place, Ken. Several neighbours joined the fun. Good times had by all, including my little Irish doll & Bonnie, who did K.P. together.
