12/15/09 - 12:26 CST - AndyC just called me on the cell. He is still in rehab, but guys the progress is remarkable. He is now mobile with a walker and strengthing all those muscles that layed around doing nothing for 2 months. His goal is to be home for Christmas. His son, Ed will be on leave from language school in California with the Air Force and arrives home on the 23rd with family. Thoughts and prayers for his dreams to be realized are always appreciated, but I think even Andy knows this is asking a lot. We thank you all for the support, prayers, visits, cards that hang all over his room, and the blessings of the friendships this community has provided. There are certainly a lot of prayers of thanks that need to be given this Holiday Season.

Wonderful news Ric. Good to hear him getting up and about, and hope he gets up and about home for his christmas wish. Lord knows his family would enjoy that for a present.

Friends, and acquaintencies… Am home on a short pass for the day, and wanted to reply to all your well wishes and prayers… They are all much appreciated…
I am progressing with rehab… I lost all muscle control and stamina, and am trying to rebuild them… Learning everything from scratch… Am progressing better than expected…
Ric has been providing updates, and am thankfull for him providing you with that information…

was great to see you today and hope your back full time with us soon. Its been way to quit on here and at the meetings. I’m doing my best to keep the pot stured but I fall short of the true master.
