Bluestone Southern CEO Hospitalized

“The scowl is there and he is Andy” This is absolutely the best news. One of my fears was that he wouldn’t come back the same which certainly happens often enough with serious problems.

Be sure to tell him Welcome Back!!!

Definitely a Thanksgiving that will not be forgotten.

That is great to here.

Oh no…does that mean that grumpy old Yardmaster will be back in Consolidated?

Heaven help us…

one can only hope so…

Woo Hoo!

Yes it is great to “HEAR”…let the improvements continue, to make this a true THANKS GIVING…

So I was at the LHS (Local Hobby Shop) and actually talking to Paul about our friend, Andy, when my cell phone rang. It was AndyC, HIMSELF, calling me on his cell phone. What a fantastic phone call. The advancements have been wonderful and I believe “Oh you honorary little man” (as declared by the desk clerk at the Nebraska City hotel) is back. l wonder if those young girls at the hotel, knew they would have this type of impact on an old man with just an impromptu fashion show? Any way, I digress. Andy has moved to the next level of rehab and if things go as planned, he should be home in a about 3 weeks. And I believe that is still before Christmas.

Cool. That would be great. Maybe we can all get him a Thomas the tank train to play with?

That’s wonderful news!

Andy has been on the Binnacle List far too long.

That would make for a very special Christmas in the Clarke home. Here at LSC too. Ralph

Wonderful news. Give him my cell number and tell him to call if he’s bored

THAT’S AWESOME!!!

Great news Thanks for the updates

Ric, I bet that “Made your Day”?

The phone lit up here about 15 minutes ago and a husky, very deliberate voice on the other end of cyberspace asked if this was “Train Wreck Stan”??? Knew right away that it was Ol’ Andy.

He sure sounded good and was able to share that he had moved across the Mississippi to a rehab center in St. Louis. No more trac, dialysis is done and he’s almost eating real food. He even shared that he has an electric wheelchair so he can chase the nurses when Jane’s not around…   However, there’s no diesel horn on the wheelchair.

After a few more sentences, his voice was getting a bit huskier so I asked to talk with Jane. She shared the recent happenings and how well he’s recovering.

Thanks for calling, old man…

We’re sure continuing to pray for complete recovery.

If you read back through this 8 pages of stuff, you’ll see he is now in his second rehab center. This place deals with more getting back to normal life. His room looks like a pretty swanky hotel and the whole atmosphere is not near as clinical as the first place. He talks, he eats and he is becoming mobile as Stan said. This place is designed to get his muscle tone back, after sluffing off and doing nothing for the last 8 weeks,. and all that normal daily activity stuff. He is impressing the Doctors every day with his improvements, I don’t know if the Nurses are as impressed and ready to deal with “the honoree little man”.

better news each time I peek at the thread!

Merry Christmas
