Nice job, Bill! I particularly like that the building is up on concrete blocks.

Yea it’s pretty neat stuff, I’ve built several buildings using their stuff, it’s not UV proof but holds up great is painted. If you go to albums and search “sawmill” it was built with it, very versatile product. On my old layout I had a bunch of stuff and that’s where all my parts are coming from, built a 3 story hotel that was at the base of my water fall for the tourist to stay in while visiting the Coquina Falls and back in the day there were hardly any 1/2" scale figures so I used the Playmobil figures and as close as you could get to the building was about 25’ and it just amazed visitors to the layout as to the number of figures I had cause from that distance you can’t tell what they are, had a lot of fun with that. Like I stated the other day I finished early basically because it was not a very complicated build like most, but it was fun. Only problem I ran into was 1 of the wall seams opened up, It was left outside 24/7 just to see if everything would hold up and nothing like real weathering. This past week we have had some extreme temperature changes 54 to 85 and it decided that I should have used more glue in that 1 joint, easy fix though just ran some model masters glue down the crack and bar clamped it for a few hours. The build sports Playmobil furniture inside, tricks I learned from Eric, solder powered light with the panel mounted in the chimney Playmobil dog and “Rooster”, can’t have LSC without “Rooster” and wonderful figure that sort of makes the whole scene, Think I will call this build, “3 in the yard and 1 in the engine house”, for you non train people that’s barefoot and pregnant. Bill overall that is a great building. Not all buildings need to be huge to be great. Small buildings are a fact of life and need to be included as well and this is a dandy. And the Chimney is over the top. i just love the painting oyu did on it. You win the most realistic chimney award. And i love how you got the solar cell in it. This was my original plan and the first cell I had fit perfectly. Then I ruined it. The second one was larger. I know people had mentioned doing it in the cap but never really thought how to make that work and you did it brilliantly.
The house turned out great, Bill. I love the simplicity of the structure, very natural. Like Devon mentioned, your painting of the chimney was over the top. Overall a great build, one of my favorites.

When I was growing our number was BE 5030, that meant the operator had to plug in the line to line 5 and our crank phone was 3 long rings, our neighbor had BE 5031-- 3 longs and 1 short (half ring), another neighbor had 3 shorts, their
number was 5300, another neighbor was 5210= 2 shorts and 1 long.
With this said I have a personal contact with the old crank phones. And of course the BR 549 has always made me chuckle. I always try to include something that some people can relate to. Roosterville founder was Rooster Cogburn
My large Mashville station, has many of the show’s actors included in the names on the model.
It is all about making someone else laugh or at least chuckle.
