Yes
They give you a arm band
I am now going on Sunday
I had no idea that the event involved dressing as cowboys and eating pastries.
And it’s too late for me to reorganize my life around attending.
Daaayaang.
The premise sounds good…
Coming to Netflix (a spin off) Jerry Seinfeld Presents Cowboys at Conventions getting Croissants.
If you all want , I can bring some horse poop , Instead of pastries, careful what you wish for
You should come to the fairgrounds in November when it’s all woman and horses
On my end, it’s always the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival in the spring. And the related Alpaca Festival in the fall. Both of which my wife exhibits in, since her business is natural-dyed wool yarn. Poop everywhere.
It’s either sheepoo or 'pacapoo.
And when I worked for Seaworld, it was Shampoo.
@rmccown-admin Are you going to be at the show at all this weekend?
@smcgill I made Treats to bring with me…
Change of plans
Sunday is when we will be there
I will be there both days! See you Sunday!
I can’t make it this year, sorry.
You are given a wrist band that is checked every time you enter one of the buildings. You can come and go as you please as long as you have that wrist band.
Great I look forward to seeing you
Nice the cars are so new looking
I was there and instantly reminded why I don’t go anymore. On the positive side, I did get to see Richard Beverly, Scott Suleski, Larry Moser and Dan Gilcrisrt, all at the NH layout. I didn’t manage to run into anyone else, or take any pictures. Sorry Fred.
Other than the huge crowds that make moving around and seeing anything difficult, my problem is mostly physical. My knees have been bothering me as of late. I have a handicap parking pass, but arriving after 10 only got me within one quarter mile of the first building. I was good making a quick round of all the buildings, but then couldn’t find the correct exit in the big Better Living Center building. By the time I did, then found an empty bench in Mallory my knees were shot. I ended up leaving right around 1PM.
This is way better than smelly old people, nope that is what it is
Jon, I’m sorry I missed you! I hope you got to see some good stuff today.
I’ll be posting videos later, it looks like. It’s a bit late now to try to put stuff together…
Jon,
I’m sorry to hear about your physical issues but if you decide to attend in the future, I’m going to let you in on a little secret. There is nothing to prevent the attendees from parking alongside the venders inside the venue. There is always plenty of parking behind the Mallory and Young buildings within about 100-200 feet of an entrance door.
I have yet to learn proper weathering. Lol
