Have you thought of opening up a sub section in the vender section http://largescalecentral.com/forums/category/6/vendors-and-manufacturers
I see that. I need to post there. how can you change the post to that category?

Robby,
You’ll have to ask Bob McCown to do it for you. He has to make you the moderator of your dealer forum.
You can’t Robby
"Paging Dr. McCown to the vendor section "

Ok, thanks
He got them from Bachmann. Bachmann displayed eggliners at the Tulsa convention.
I wonder if they’ll build the Dash 9s too?

Why? what happened to the molds?
Jeeze… Bachmann is dipping it’s toe in the water with eggliners, and it’s been a great while since they announced they would have them and they have become available.
Now you are surprised that RJ says in your dreams, for the largest diesel Aristo ever made? That won’t take tight curves, and is way more expensive and a gamble compared to an eggliner released in time for Christmas?
Joe, it’s more likely Bachmann would offer a small diesel or small steamer, it’s not the availability of the molds, but risk/reward, and if you study Bachmann’s offerings, and prices and what they have brought to the market, and what they have been saying.
(also, notice the 2 axle motor block from the eggliner is completely different from the 3 axle “prime mover”)
I’m with RJ, the most I can hope for is possibly the Consolidation, which was popular, and is more in line with the NG steamers Bachmann has offered.
Greg
Bachmann is very frugal when it comes to what they make. If they dont believe they can sell a couple of shipping containers full of something, odds are they wont make it. While the Dash-9 would be a nifty model, I have to agree with Greg that its probably not in their immediate future.
