Such a deal…who could pass that one up…
Looks like it’s pretty close to getting outside, Ken. What’s left?
It sure looked nice when I saw it up at Dave’s.
I have an order for rail from C&OC RR that I’m waiting on for the ring rail. Stretch informed it was backordered but is now on it’s way. Once I get that installed, and some gravel on the pit floor it’ll be ready to set in place on the RR. I may have to do some tweaking on it, but other than that is mostly complete. Once that’s done I can finish the yard area.

Most of the track in this area is temporary till the TT is placed. Then I can re-arrange the track to fit around it.
Yea, I set it there to give Dave some inspiration…looks good there in front of his roundhouse.
Finally got it in the ground…

That looks great! How will you handle drainage in the pit?
Mike , there’s about 6" of stone under the pit and there’s a drain pipe for the downspout about a foot away. It’s not apparent in the photo’s but the stone extends to the drain.
Wow! That sure looks nice, Ken. Did you put any sealer on the gallows?
Not yet, Bruce. Still deciding if I want to stain it to a darker color.
Voila! Track work is in place and the Turntable works great!

Very nicely done Ken.
Sure looks nice. Well done. Like that coaling tower, too.
Ken,
You humble me with your work. The whole area of the turntable fits right in with your work on the Gallows. Thanks for sharing.
WOW! Inspiration!
How do you index the TT?
Great job Ken
Are you planning on an operating session up there?
That is some effort, Ken!
