Hey I can post finally after reading the fix.

Well my name is Devon and I am a new member to Large Scale Central and for the most part to Large scale railroads. I got involved about three or four years ago maybe even more but had to give it up before I really got started. I am an HO guy in modern diesel modeling the Saint Maries River Railroad in Northern Idaho. In large sale I am modeling the Coeur d’Alene Railway and Navigation Company that operated in North Idaho in the late 1880’s to mid 1890s as a NPRR affiliate.

I am a scratch builder in both. Currently in large scale I am doing my first loco build, a 1880’s Baldwin 2-6-0 which is an ex Utah and Northern loco that is the CR&N #3. I started with a Bachmann 10 wheeler but very little of the original is in use. It is pretty much a ground up build.

What I came to this site for was the specifically the builders challenges. I look forward to participating in the upcoming challenge.

Its nice to meet someone that actually knows how to spell and pronounce it. Here in the US its is either spelled like Kevin with an I or pronounced like on. I was actually named after the British car. my dad loved them

Yes we did have an interchange. one the tracks washed out past clarkia that was lost and now STMA has abandon the clarkia run all together. The WI&M was a fun railroad.

Lucky you didn’t get named Austin, then, eh? Or Somerset…

Westminster would have been embarassing, but not as bad as Maxi.

The ‘Alan’ is a car? I didn’t know that. My second initial stands for Alan, BTW.
