Railways as a topic…What scale…what prototype…what colour, LGB or some other brand, or just stick with the original old wood and iron “Pull toys” ?

That could be fun.......who wants to start.......

One question; How successful has the “Rebuilt” KCS remake of the Panima Canal Railroad been ?
Their web page is not up-to-date, except for a bit of talk about a dinner train.
I was led to believe that the rebuild was to be the greatest answer to intermodal transport since man invented the sail…
How is business in intermodal, and/or passenger/dinner train ?
OR…did a lot of money get lost ?
Is KCS still operating it ?

Dunno about the passenger piece, Fred, but the railroads that finally led to the successful construction of the Panama Canal would have to rank as one of the greatest engineering feats ever.

Someone finally figured out that, if you dig dirt out of a hole, you’d better bloody well shift it quickly or gravity, aided by water, will ensure it rolls right back again!
