…it’s MY battle all the time…to try to avoid the scale…!!!
Now…what scale is the operation this Saturday to be…?
I find the best way to avoid the “Scale” issue, is to hid it under the bed!
To get back to reality, if there is such a place…
We solve the main issue around here by having seperate operations, all using the same railroad on different days.
My personal scales are; 1:22.5, as my main operating scale; and a slowly building inventory of 1:20.3 equipment that will eventually lead to a third operating opportunity.
A lot of the guys don’t care what scale it is and would gladly see everything running together…but it is my pike and the NG operations stay “Pure”…on the days of the 1:29 ops; they can do what they want, but leave my equipment out of it…!!!

Next you will want the “others” to sit on the backside of the railway…And you will have different wash rooms for them.
Sounds good to me!..Do whatever you like…It’s your pike!
