ig told me off for writing my first response in French, pointing out that we were not in QB, but never mentioned Irish.

Sooooooooooooooooo… Seo `ta mór fáilte a chur roimh duit uainn a bhfuil an áidh chun cónaí i Sasana. Tá sé seo ar siúl le tart iontach le haghaidh eolais, le do thoil mar sin a insint dúinn fút féin, eh?

But, anyway …Welcome aboard, Pierre…

An bhfuil aon duine eile a thuiscint seo?

Anyway, welcome.

We can probably translate French, too, but the English is much easier.

Bienvenue!

Welcome.

There are a number of french speaking members here.

If you have difficulty with some particular word or phrase there is generally someone here that can help.

Je suis un amateur des chemins de fer de crémaillaire.

I have no idea how the Irish crept into the posts above, but you can often expect detours and changes of topic in all the large scale forums.

Are there any french language large scale forums?

welcome aboard… My French is non existent , but I can contribute some Navajo…

This signal is always welcome! Alpha Delta 28.

I hope, Pierre’ returns…we may have chased him off in fear that we are like a bunch of hungry wolves, just waiting on a free meal…

Come back, Pierre’…we are well fed, and usually behave ourselves…you should have no fear.
