A French guy is in the house!

Thank you all for your friendly welcome.

I watched a lot of forums and this is the best forum I ever found.

There is a lot of forums in french but I love America and Canada.

But I hate guns because we have had two world wars on our soil (thanks America, we are free !) and that’s enough for anyone !

And I apologize for my very bad english…but after all I’m just a french guy

Welcome mon Ami!

What part of France are you from?

Some of us might of been there, not just in uniform!

When you tell use were you’re from you might be surprised who lives real close by!

P.S. We’re all just a little off centered!

Sean

So do all the houses in your neck of the woods look like this?

It’s a photo of the Monbazillac castle near the city of Bergerac (Dordogne).

They make a wonderful white wine.

You are totally correct in your assessment of this forum - I left one forum, after many years, because of constant barracking from another poster, and got banned from another because I called some of the because more extreme LGB fans a bunch of foamers. Some folks have absolutley ZILCH in the way of humour, it seems…

I’m very lucky that many here I have had the chance to meet up with on our visits back to see my family in Ontario, and hope to again.

Now, all you have to do is to tell us your hopes, dreams and achievements in the world of garden railways…

Best

Salut Pierre,

On that picture, since you have an existing website, the easy way to post pictures:

Create a folder on your site and link to that folder.

à bientôt

BTW check it out http://www.bellevue-cottage.com/en/index.html Too bad I can’t find a picture of the garden railway, but the rest … ooh la la!

HJ, you had to go and upset Pierre.

I guess he wanted to maintain his secret identity.

Another “Deleted member”…and all we did was try to welcome him with humour…next time, we should put out bear traps and honey, and make sure a few of our members are on secure leashes…!!

That’s the problem when you set a link to your commercial endeavours. If you don’t want people to know about them, then you forget about the link. Seems simple to me, but a lot of things seem simple to me and others find them …

Yesterday was election day, the lead-up was interesting. Several candidates from different parties got dropped like hot potatoes once the opponents did some digging in the social media. The gist: if you post on the Internet, you better be careful and/or secure in your beliefs. You don’t want people to know how you feel or think about X,Y or Z, best keep the fingers off the keyboard. Things have a way to come back, sooner or later.

H-J: Does this mean I shouldn’t tell you what I think of Mike Duffy? :open_mouth:

What is going on here? Another deleted member?? I don’t know why you guys have to be so mean and chase people away. LOL pretty weird though. maybe he was related to that other guy or maybe it was the other guy all along? If that is the case I guess he made fools out of all of us when we gaave our warm greetings to him. Weird.

Troll.

JLF,

No, you shouldn’t. Remember we’re trying to keep the site on the ©lean side.
